Hi, I agree. I've never expected to make money, which is just as well! Like you, I've sold a few books through Amazon, but mostly to friends. The most money I've made has been through either competitions or once for a piece of flash fiction I had published earlier this year, and I nearly fell off my chair as I didn't realise I'd even be paid! It's great when it happens, but I certainly never expect it.
