Hello, I noticed your question about Bertrams and the registration of your three books.

Since Bertrams closed in 2020, the best alternative depends on what you need to replace. If you’re looking for wholesale distribution and access to UK bookshops, Gardners is one established company worth investigating. If your main concern is ensuring your books remain available to retailers and libraries, the right route may also depend on your publisher or distribution arrangement.

One important distinction is that being listed with a wholesaler isn’t necessarily the same as having your books registered in a permanent industry database, so it would be worth confirming exactly what Bertrams handled for your titles.

I’m Vivian with Scholarad, and I work with authors on the practical side of presenting and positioning their books. Are you mainly looking for a replacement wholesaler, or do you want to make sure your three titles are still properly listed and orderable by bookshops?
