Synopsis
The Austens of Steventon is a work of biographical fiction about Jane Austen and her family. It is based on true facts and events taken from memoirs, letters and ancestral records and tells of the life of the author as a young girl growing up amongst her family and friends in Steventon. It covers the time period from 1764 to 1801 and is the first of a three-part series. Book Two will follow them all to Bath, and the third in the series will record their lives in Chawton.
