This is a friendly reminder to take a look at the ASPA Bookstore.
Is your book in there?
Any ASPA member can advertise their book for free, with links to Amazon and Goodreads, for readers to find out more or make a purchase. You will find a wide selection of titles to suit every taste, encompassing different genres and themes.
What makes it even more interesting is the fact that we personally know the authors. Through interactions on the ASPA site and meeting one another at the ‘Prose and Cons’ coffee mornings, we can put faces to names. It’s incredible how everyone’s passion is different, and how we all create books that the next person would never have thought of.
It feels like stepping into a shop stocked by like-minded friends, giving us something we never knew we needed.
If your book isn’t there already and you’d like it to be, then it’s quick and easy to set up.
Click on Bookstore from the ASPA homepage.
At the very bottom of the listings page, you will see the invitation to add your own book. Click on the ‘Join Today’ button.
From there, you will be taken to the Members Area.
Scroll down to ‘The Library’ and click the yellow ‘Add your book details’ button.
From there, fill out your book’s details on the form provided and press submit.
Your book will then appear in the ASPA Bookstore in around 5-7days.
Sharing is caring, so imagine if we each committed to reading just two books a year from the ASPA Bookstore and writing a friendly review afterwards. Think how beneficial this publicity would be for our fellow writers and how enlightening for us as individuals to experience different author styles. Consider it to be Continuing Professional Development for your job.
